How do we talk to our landlord?

i've posted this before, but need some fresh thoughts. we've been living here for 7 months and there is one situation that has been bothering dh and i. our landlords live above us and have hardwood floors. i can't count the number of times that we have been awokend by our landlord walking around above our heads in heels! it isn't just weekends at 8 am, but weekday mornings too. i know we probably can't do anything but at the same time, how can we nicely say that it is bothering us?

i had the same problem and what i did is waited for a holiday and gave her a pair of real nice warm slippers and said these are great to wear in the morning before work till right before you leave, it helped make my feet feel better at the end of the day, less time in the shoes, it worked. good luck hope this makes since!
