I'd like to know also! I'm tryin to organize a plan of attack b/c I think I'm going to book tomorrow.

I'm really not sure I know Antonio at Leonard's threw in a Spanish Station for us because FH is Puerto Rican...we didn't ask he just offered....I asked about the chair covers and he threw those in too...The only thing I did ask for was stawbeerries in the champagne and he said no problem and threw in champagne to be served throughout the night. The only thing I'm upset that I didn't ask for before signing the contract is if he could throw in Corona for a beer option He said that would be an extra $2pp.

I too love my beer, but they always have bud light... hehe If i'm at a wedding and both are free, you know I'm going for the liquor instead Such a lush...

First, I'm going to ask if they will lower the min. If they say no, then I'm going to say if you lower min, I'll add Vienese. (I want it anyways, but ya know) Is there anything else I can do? I'm bad at negotiating

We did the same thing. We told the hall what our pp budget was and what we wanted from them. When the hall sees you are committed to booking your event there, they SHOULD try to compromise to get your business. For instance, we wanted 5/24 since it is Memorial Weekend, but it was already booked. The BM did not hesitate to throw in things to get our business because he knew we really wanted that date, but when he told us the price and what we would be getting, There was no way we could say no because of the holiday. We will just have an early evening wedding on a Sunday. And all in our budget
