How do you 'break-up' with your hair stylist?

How do you 'break-up' with your hair stylist?

I've been going to the same hair stylist for about 3 years. I went to her at her first salon and followed her to her second. I'm not crazy about the new salon, but I like my stylist. However, the past 3 haircuts have not been so good. I've even gone back in after one of them for her to fix it.

I think at this point, it's time to part ways. Her prices keep going up and I'm not 100% happy. I think that with the prices I'm paying, I SHOULD be 100% happy with my hair and I am not.

She's a great person, we get along really well, so how do I end this 'relationship.' I feel bad, but I really think it's time for a change.

TIA!

I just stopped calling

Seriously, I just started going somewhere else. ANd of course I am in my friends bridal party in August and her hairstylist is my old hair stylist. I actually am dreading seeing her, but I think I am just gonna say I moved and started to go to someone closer to my new house (ok that is a load of crap - but whatever!)

I'm bad and I just stop calling. But if you're worried about things being awkward if you run into her, you could just call her and say that her services have become too expensive.

Thanks ladies, maybe I'll give her one last shot and if I hate it, just stop going there.

I just stop going. You have one shot to mess up my hair and I am gone.
