How do you check into the hotel?

On the day of your wedding, how are you supposed to check into the hotel?

For the night of. Our ceremony is at 2 and the reception ends at midnight. FH will be staying at the hotel the night before, but in a different room. I don't know how my stuff and his mill make it into the new room. DO we just do it after midnight?

he can just check in to both rooms, they are both in his name, right? its no problem, it'll work out

He could try to check in before the ceremony, sometimes rooms are available that early. Otherwise you could have someone do it for you in between the ceremony and the reception.

we checked in after the reception... we told them when we made the reservation that we would be checking in late..... we used DHs Hummer as one of our 'wedding cars', so we put our luggage in there the night before, so it was already with us. then, we had a towncar pick us up after the reception and we just transferred our bags from the Hummer to the towncar to go to the hotel
