How do you clean a pergo floor

We bought a house with a very light colored pergo floor in the kitchen. Well needless to say after all the work done in the kitchen it is filthy. I know Pergo sells a spray to clean the floors but that just isn't going to cut it! Can I use something else? I just bought a Floormate. Please help!!! Spraying and wiping will take FOREVER!
