How do you clean Silver Plated Items...

and how long will it last?

Reason: I pulled out the keychains I bought my girls off of THeKnot last year and I never realized they were silver plated NOT sterling silver and they are TARNISHED!! i am embarrassed, and really don't have the time or $$ to buy new ones. I did buy them a few other great gifts. Should I still give them? Can I clean them up??

TIA

I believe you clean SP the same as SS. A polish and cloth should do the trick...I would google for a solution.
