I don't know if I should invest in an Ultra Sonic...The people on Pricescope say to use Dawn, windex, or mr clean with a baby toothbrush, while others suggest ammonia. What have you ladies been doing?

Re: How do you clean your E-ring?
I usually use the jewelry cleaner...but the other day I used toothpaste with baking soda in it and it came really nice. I heard that windex makes the gold turn yellow...is that true?

Re: How do you clean your E-ring?
Fh got my ring for a jewelry store at roosevelt field mall, which is like 5 minutes from work, so when i feel like my ring needs to be cleaned i just go there and have them clean it for me for free

FH got my ring at the Broadway Mall... and I live not too far from there, so like T E R I above I just walk in there and ask them to clean it about once a week.

Re: How do you clean your E-ring?
My jeweler said to take dial soap and water in a bowl. Soak the ring for like 5 mins and then clean with a toothbrush.

I know that white gold can turn yellow due to skin chemistry.

You might wanna use a lint-free cloth, I tried the cotton swab thing and I got a lot of particles all over it.

My jeweler told me to soak it in rubbing alcohol for a 1/2 hour.

Re: How do you clean your E-ring?
09'er crashing.... I use ammonia. Every week, I put my ring in a glass, pour ammonia into the glass. I would say about a CM of ammonia is good and I take HOT water and pour it in the glass and let it sit while I'm in the shower. My ring looks brand new after this.

Re: How do you clean your E-ring?
Oh! And don't use a toothbrush. My Dad's a jeweler and doesn't suggest doing this because this can shift the prongs.
