How do you clean your E-ring?

I just cleaned mine in a mix of boiling water and ammonia, rinsed, then soaked in alcohol for a few minutes. How do you all clean your rings?

I have a jewelry cleaner that works really well. I got it at my jeweler but have seen it everywhere- it is red.

I just have regular jewelry cleaner, and I have it cleaned at the jewelers every few months..

amonia and hot water here too...our jewler said not to bother with jewelry cleaners...waste of money...and can cause build up...if you want a little extra shine...spray with windex...

i use the cleaner that the jeweler gave to FI - forget the name, but it's in a red jar. love that stuff!!!

just piping hot water can do the trick..sometimes i use soapy water too. i think ill try ammonia...it sounds good!

denture cleaner. works great!

It soaks in a mixture of water, dish detergant & ammonia...then a light brushing.

i heard you can use alka seltzer too - put it in a cup of water then drop your ring in.....

Ammonia and a good scrub with a toothbrush! Having it steamed at the jewelers works best, but ammonia does the trick too.

I use a sonic cleaner the jeweler gave when FH got the ring. It works great

soapy water let it soak for a few minutes, then toothbrush..
one time i got veggi oil on my ring, the jeweler website said to dip it in vodka, then do the soappy water, and it worked!

I use a green colored cleaner from the jewelers when FH picked up the ring, then rinse in hot water. But when that runs out I'll do amonia/water or toothpaste.

Does anyone notice that their ring gets dirty so fast after you clean it? Mine is dirty a few hous after...I dont know what I am doing that it gets so filthy so easily.

I just read in a magazine that you should soak your ring in 2 parts wisk detergent and 6 parts water for an hour and use an old toothbrush to clean it. Supposed to sparkle!
