How do you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit?

Re: How do you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit?

To convert a Fahrenheit temperature into Celsius:

Tc = (5/9)*(Tf-32)

For example, to convert a Fahrenheit temperature of 98.6 degrees into degrees Celsius first subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit temperature to get 66.6. Then you multiply 66.6 by five-ninths to get 37 degrees Celsius.

To convert a Celsius temperature into degrees Fahrenheit:

Tf = ((9/5)*Tc)+32

For example, to convert a Celsius temperature of 100 degrees into degrees Fahrenheit, first multiply the Celsius temperature reading by nine-fifths to get 180. Then add 32 to 180 and get 212 degrees Fahrenheit.

I have no idea. At this point, I'm lucky I can add 2+2

Re: How do you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit?

Ok..maybe I cna simplify

Tf = ((9/5)*Tc)+32

Multiply the celsius temperature by 9/5 (nine fifths...or multiple by nine and then divide by five...you can do this on a calculator) and then add 32 and you get the fahrehneit

so if it is 5 degrees celcius

five times 9 is 45, divide that by five, and you've got nine. add 32 to 9 and you get 41 and that is the fahrenheit temperature

DITTO GIRL!!! I can so see myself running to the computer to do a search....

hmm lemme see...'how to convert quantative numbers into fractions, then divide by using derivatives of nine..'.....

I'm up sh!ts creek without a paddle baby!!!!

Automatic Converter

thought I don't know how accurate it is considering whomeever wrte it doens't know how to spell fahrenheit

AHHHH this makes it much easier thank you!!! Why can't everyone just use F?
