How do you do your Present shopping?

I always try to get something really thoughtful that fits the persons personallity. I agree that it is tough sometimes - but I try -

Me too. I try to find something that I know the person will like/need. I also don't like finding the little things and not that one big gift, but most of the time, in my case, it's the little things that make more of a hit so then I don't feel as bad.

Im sorta both. I always buy what I feel they need or want, but at the same time I'd never buy something for someone that I wouldnt want for myself. Meaning if I wouldnt want it, why give it to someone else?

I am on a tight budget so actually shopping gets really creative. It's the search for the right present at the right price. They are out there, just hiding really well.

That is so so so so true!! That is going to be me this year - last year FH and I spent so much money on x-mas presents. We are setting a budget for that this year too - otherwise we will never save for the wedding. Since our wedding is Jan 2005 - X-mas 2004 presents are basically going to be non-existent. Everyone is going to be getting a nice chirstmas card with lots of love!
