I've been checking Travelocity, Expedia and Orbitz

do you have any other options?

also try cheaptickets.com.....I used them for Thanksgiving and got the best rate!

believe it or not check the actual airlines website - I often get an internet discount which is better than those sites sometimes

Hubby uses Orbitz to book our anniv trip and he is also a big fan of Taravlocity. I love Expedia.

Travelzoo.com is great if you don't mind booking last minute. You can save hundreds of dollars.

www.cheaptickets.com and cheapseats.com are the best we saved $400 off of each ticket.

For the first time ever, when planning our HM we used a travel agent-Liberty travel. They were able to break up a vacation package-we only needed a place to stay for a few nights, and airfare for flights that did not match our hotel days. Their airfare was far, far less than what I found myself online.

They run specials all of the time-check them out!

sometimes if you do last minutes vacations you cuold even use a bj's kind of place...they are cheap and include hotel too!!

no vacation...we need to go to Spain to help MIL with the closing of a house...moving stuff and emotional support...she has been there since october and I think she is going to have a breakdown soon...(she's been living with her mother the whole time...lol)

hotwire has good prices but I do not tihnk they give you the itinerary until after you've paid. So if your times are fliexible (including a red eye) you may want to look into this

It depends on where you are going, but Jet Blue has REALLY low prices! I think they only fly w/i the US for now, but my FH and I are going to California for our honeymoon, and we got roundtrip airfare for both of us for under $600!
