how do you get all the girls togther??

how do you get all the girls togther??

i need advice how to coordinate 5 bridesmaids together for dresses. i want to be fair and make sure it works out for everyone but somehow i dont know if that will work that way.. any advice?

I was in my friends wedding last year, and she's from Queens, and we had 2 from the city and the rest from Suffolk. She basically gave us a date in advance, and had us all meet her at the store. There was another girl from Queens who didn't make it that day, but I think b/c the dress was from a designer that sells in a lot of stores, she was able to do fittings out there. I couldnt and I didnt get them all together. I had to break them up in groups of 3 and 2. No other way for us. They all ended up with different dresses as planned so it didnt matter in terms of choosing.

My MOH is going to pick out the dress but I did ask for input from my BM's on what they do/don't like such style, cut, fabric, etc. I'm lucky because they all have similar taste.

I found out what days worked best for everyone then made a day gave everyone a weeks notice and it worked...

We FINALLY are all going together this Sat. We have gone in separate groups, but Sat my 3 BM's and MOH, Jr. BM and my mom are all going to be there.

It is so hard.. i have 8 there was no way.. I took one BM and she tried on a couple and I decided and now I will go back with the rest to order it..

Honestly you cant make everyone happy pick a date and who can make it comes who doesnt doesnt... dont make yourself nuts

THAT IS WHAT IM PROBABLY GONNA HAVE TO DO. WHICH I DID KINDA. BUT NOT FULLY YET. AND I DONT WANT TO WAIT TOO LONG B/C THE HOLIDAYS ARE COMING SOON. SOME PEOPLE ARE MORE PICKY THAN OTHERS

My BM live all over the country, so it is impossible for all of us to get together. I e-mailed all of them pics of dresses as I came across them to get their ideas on shape, color, price, etc. Then my sister (MOH) and I went and selected a dress with eveyone's input in mind and everyone loved it!

I picked a month (October) about two months ago and asked if anyone had any conflicts on any weekend. I got it narrowed down to two Saturdays that worked, and we're all going in two weeks, out of state bm's and all. If worse comes to worse, do it in two shifts, three, or however many you need. I picked a date a few months in advance and had them all agree. That is the toughest part-

we will all meet and pick a dress-and they will get measured. Then after taht they can go on their own for fittings. I also picked a place that is central to us all.

I would pic a date at least 4 Weeks inadvances and send them a cute email that its time to pick out your dress please join me on 11/2/05 at 3pm at bridal salon balbla,
if for anyreason you can not attend please let me know....
that way you have given them enough notice

i took my sister and we found a dres I liked then I had each girl individually try the dress on whenever was convenient for them. It worked out fine!!

We just picked a day this month (next weekend) that worked for MOST of the girls (I have 9).

I just sent out the evite last night. I am hosting a Bridesmaids Luncheon to thank them for the wonderful shower they helped throw me. Afterwards, we will head to Lillette's.

The other two that can't make it will be sending in their measurements and deposit. They also went by themselves somewhere else and tried on my favorite dress.

I had a get-together with all my girls. I let them know 2 months in advance. At the meeting I gave them all of the information about the dress, store, pricing etc. I told them they could go on their own to order it, but told them I would like them to order within a month. It worked out really well, I could not have tried to organize a Saturday to all go together-everyone has so much going on.

I didn't- I just sent them to the store by themselves

I asked everyone a few weeks ahead of time and luckily, all of the girls were free. The only one who wasn't there was the bm who lives out of state.

i've been meeting with the girls in 2 separate groups, but before we started trying on dresses, i had emailed different styles to them so no one felt shafted or stuck with something they didn't like
