how do you get rid of a bird's nest!!

they built a nest right next to the air conditioner in the space between the air conditioner and the window. they are chirping so loudly and driving me crazy!! i am afraid they will peck right thru the plastic that is covering the window.

This happened to me too and I'm too afraid to use the a/c or move the nest! I will wait until the babies are able to fly and try to move it. Every time I open the window and stick my head out to check out the babies, the mother bird dive bombs me and chirps loudly! They are cute though!

maybe you could call your town up? tell them that you think its dangerous by the AC and if they could move it to a 'Safer' spot

Tough situation...I wouldn't want to disturb the nest either. Maybe animal control can gently move it.

I think if you disturb the nest then you doom the baby birds to be abandonned by the mother. I suggest you leave it alone for the season. I know it's annoying but these are living creatures. You'll move on in no time. They won't peck through your AC.
