how do you give a few people less than those expected?
Re: how do you give a few people less than those expected?
I gave like 5 less... Those who RSVP'd late and by work of mouth I didn't include. For example: DH's great uncle who told DH's grandfather who told DH's mom 'Oh yea, I'll be there.' when it was 6 days to the wedding. We didn't count him. And he didn't show up either - 'he didn't have a ride.' My co-worker who never RSVP'd and told me 2 weeks to the wedding 'of course I'll be there' - didn't show because she had a 'tooth ache.' Etc... Every family has 'those people' who are notorious flakes. Don't count them. And if they do show up then have your place just add a seat. Also, make sure there is a place for them at that table. Have them on your seating chart, not theirs. In other words, don't seat them at the table of 12, seat them at the table of 10 or 11. I hope this made sense!

I cut out about 4 or 5 poeple and it was like 1 from each table. They added chairs were they needed to the day of and I didn't get charges for the extra! YAY!
