How do you indicate how many on an invite?

There are some people I want the whole family (4), others the mother, husband and daughter (3), others I want one and a guest and some just 1 (no guest).

How do you do that?

How do you handle people adding others on?

Also, where do people indicate how many are actually coming? On the line????

I am going to be so mad if peopel commit and they don't show up-----grr!

Sorry for the dumb questions.....

Thanks

You write out specifically who is invited on the inner envelope.

Excuse the ignorance, but which inner envelope?

does your invite not have an inner envelope? like the outer envlope that you write the address on, and then when they open it, a lot of invites have an 'inner' envelope. (mine didn't) if you do, you can put on there all the names of the ppl you want to invite. like
'Mr. & Mrs Smith:'
or
'Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Jack
Jill' etc.

we had our respone cards say 'We have reserved ____ places in your honor' , and filled it in.

how does your response card look? what is the exact wording? maybe you could pre-fill the # of ppl you are inviting on there

I don't have the envelopes yet, but I don't think I have an inner envelope. I haven't received the proofs yet for the rsvp card, but I can write it in?

What of 3 out of 4 are going. How do they indicate that to me???

Thanks

Our RSVP card was like this

'Kindly respond on or before January 17th, 2007
We have reserved _____ places in your honor.

____ accepts with pleasure
____ delinces with regret

(we put the # of ppl on that line that we were inviting, so there was no confusion to how many could come)

Re: How do you indicate how many on an invite?

i am not doing a inner envelope so you can put it on the outer (i am doing pocket folds) you put Mr. and Mrs. blah blah or Mr. and Mrs. blah and family, etc.

This was noted before and also you do the same thing on the response where you fill in a lotted number.

Re: How do you indicate how many on an invite?

Try this:
___ accepts _____ regrets

# attending (for when 2 or more people in an invite are invited but not all can come.)

The # attending should not exceed the amount of people listed on the inner envelope ,which should match the # of people listed on the outer envelope.
