How do you keep Aunt Flow from crashing your wedding?!?!
Can anyone tell me how the ring can be used to delay your period from coming?

I don't know about 'the ring', but I take a low hormone bc pill, and am just going to keep taking the hormone pills and skip my period this one month.

I'm going to go on Birth Control about a year before the wedding, I think.. I REALLY REALLY REALLY do not want to go on BC, but I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY do not want Aunt Flow on my wedding day.

I *think* you would use the ring the same way you you bc pills when you don't want your period. Instead of taking it out after 3 weeks, take it out and put a new one in. This will keep the hormone level the same so you don't get your period.

Wow, that's a great question. I was lucky that didn't happen on my wedding day. I got it the week before it would had def ruined my wedding day & HM since we were flying out the next morning. One method is birth control pills. The other one is what I've read in an article for people who wants to have sex while they're on aunt flow that delays it for 48 hrs. but you def have to talk to your doctor/gyno and clinics to obtain it.

get on the BC pill asap. I take the pills a certain way to only get it when i want. I usually get it about 4x/year purposely.

I'm on the ring ( love it) My doctor said you can just keep it in or put a new one in. You will skip your period that month. I asked and it's ok if you do it.

Wowzer I didn't know this was possible - I'll have to talk to my doc about it cause i am on birth control - Do u just start a new pack the week you're supposed to be on the placebo pill??

On the pill, you just start a new pack instead of taking the placebo pills. OR you can switch to seasonique or seasonale. I love it! I get my period 4 times a year. It's fantastic - the best BCP I've ever been on and I've been on several.

I do suggest when doing this.. skip it a few months before your wedding to get your body on track of not having it for your wedding.. and ensure to count your cycle to ensure you will need to skip it. Depending on the person your body may have to 'adjust' and you will still have a light period during your 'skipped' week.

i'm on the pill so i can predict when i get my period and i actually purposely chose my date on a week i wouldnt have it. i will be getting it on day 11 of our HM though. Talk to your dr. because mine told me that when its gets closer she will make sure i dont have it, in case my calculations are wrong.
with the pill there are two ways to do it but im unsure about the ring. i'm sure your doc wont advise against it if its just one time
