How do you know if your engagement ring is sized correctly?
Mine is a 5.25, with the stability balls in it. Its way too big, I can get if off my finger without a problem over my knuckle. When I brought it in to be sized, the jeweler measured my finger and said I was a 4.5. Problem is, I could barely get the 4.5 off my finger. I couldnt possibly be a 4.5, but he insisted. Are you supposed to be able to barely get your ring off if its sized correctly? I know my fingers tend to swell or shrink depending on the weather, but that just seemed wrong to me.

You should be able to get your ring off...with the balls in it my ring doesnt move, but I am able to get it off with a little pull over my knuckle...as with most people, my fingers swell a lot, so it had to be comfortable when they got larger, and it is, if you cant get the 4.5 off go one size bigger

The ring should feel comfortable and be able to slide on and off easily, but if you hold you hand downward & shake it, the ring shouldn't fall off on its own, there has to be some resistance that keeps it on & keeps it from spinning all the time.

i would just go to a different jeweler and have them size your finger and see what they said

my ring is pretty tight, especially if it is warm out...I tend to swell/shrink quite a bit with the weather..but my ring is never loose enough to fall off or so tight that I can't wear it.
I kind of wish my ring was a little bigger with the balls in it, then if you ever gain weight or get pregnant, it will still fit you, you can just take the balls out.
I would go to another jeweler and have them size you.
