About the number of guests attending your wedding?? Lol. I only ask because I would love to tell them 3-5 less then what it really is but when you hand in the seating chart and you have the numbers written in at each table don't they count them? Or did you just deduct the numbers from the seating chart????

yea, i made that mistake ... you need to tell them a lower number AND not have those people in the seating chart. about 2 days before the wedding, give the RH the real seating chart .... they won't even look at the original.

Girls usually give their RH's a lower count then what it really is so like that in case you have a few no shows you don't have to pay for them. Usually you tell them 3-5 people less if you want.

Me too!!! We had 2 no shows the day of the wedding. Plus, there were at least 4 people who told us they weren't coming after we already gave our final count.
That's a friendship deal breaker for me.

I gave a guest number 10 less than what I expected 2 weeks before wedding. I gave them my seating chart with the real number of seats though. Sure enough, I lost 8 guests during the week. Ended up paying extra for 2 and gave the venue a revised guest list day before.
