how do you make a cardbox?

If anyone is willing to share some ideas or pics on how to make one very simply I would appreciate it!

My FH said if I cant make it look nice, we will be putting them in a plastic bag :(

I made my own card box. I just took a carboard box, cut an opening in the top and wrapped it with nice wrapping paper. I tied some ribbon around it and made a pretty bow. People thought it was an actual gift until they saw the slit in the top, or my BP told them.
ETA: Target has cardboard boxes in a variety of sizes.

I made one that came out great! It really helped to save a lot of $$$, too... I am having trouble posting the pic, though.

All you need: 3 hat boxes, pretty fabric, ribon, razor to cut the boxes, and a glue gun.

First, cut holes in the tops and bottoms of the boxes, except for the top one, just cut a slit in the top to slip cards through.

Then, cover each box with the fabric.

I lined the bottom of each one with ribbon to dress it up a bit.

Just stack them one on top of the other and your done! I glue-gunned them together, as well.

did the photo cube brides use glue to keep the frames together?

No. I didn't use glue. I got 'L' brackets from HOme Depot and Fh screwed them together. it was really easy. here is my album, scroll down for pictures of the construction.
