How do you make a link?

I've been copying and pasting links for posting on this site for a while now and I think it's about time I learned how to make it into a link so it's easier for people. Can somebody please tell me how to do this?

sure, all you have to do is reply to a post and on the right hand side (where the emoticons are) it says 'insert a link'. You copy the address and insert it there. You can also name it something else such as 'link to travel website' etc........

under where the 'add emote-icons' is, it says 'add feature' and the first one sayd 'insert web link'...click it, it will ask you what you want to call the link...you can name it anything!, then click ok, a new screen will pop up and you enter the http; address (just be careful if you are cutting and pasting - you want to make usre you delete the 'http://' that is already there since your link will prob already have it!!
