just make a circle and then cut it out? i am trying to make it in word so i can write our names and date.........

make a cone out of blank paper - cut to the desired size. mark where you would like your names printed and format the word document so that it prints there. trim the paper. seal with a glue stick or double sided tape.

I purchased some medium sized doilies this weekend. I just made one and all you have to do is fold and use double sided tape.
It was so much easier than messing around with regular paper. I tried that last week and it was a little more time consuming.

Also - for the dolies you can put a label with names and date which are a lot easier to print out -all the avery labels match up with word -
