is it true taking prenatal pills (even if you are not prego) makes your hair grow fast?? i want my hair to grow!!! lol

The vitamin Biotin works. Also my hair has been growing like crazy since I bought the Pantene great lengths shampoo and conditioner. I had a really short angled, stacked haircut that I have been trying to grow out since last year. It is finally getting longer now.

i've heard not to put conditioner on your scalp so the pores open up. just do below the crown and down. good luck!!

I was going to suggest the same thing. Make sure you talk to your doctor before taking biotin though. I take Biotin and it has def helped my hair grow.

I use Garnier Fructis Length and Strength shampoo and conditioner. I don't know if it actually works, but it can't hurt. My hair is the longest it's ever been in my life, it's almost too long! I just got a trim mid-October and it's already halfway down my back again.

My hair grows crazy fast... and is really thick.
My hairdresser is always shocked at how fast it grows.
Here is my secret.... PREVENT BREAKAGE AT ALL COSTS!
Be nice to your hair... healthy hair also starts from the scalp... massage your scalp.
Take a mulit vitamin
Don't over process or use too much heat (also let it dry as much as possible before drying it w/a blow dryer - I leave mine in a bun while I sleep)
NEVER brush it when it's wet (use a wide toothed comb)
Once you start to see that you are 'shedding' a lot, get a trim!! This means that your hair is breaking and if you don't get it trimmed it will thin out at the ends and also look shorter.
EVERY time you shower put a GOOD leave-in conditioner in it to protect it... if you heat style - put a thermal protector in it... they don't have to be expensive.
When combing your hair (especially when wet) start from the bottom and slowly work up.
Anyway that's what works for me.... good luck!

I am trying to grow my hair longer too. I was told that you should get a trim every 6-8 weeks and that will prevent breakage at the ends keeping your hair healthier. I usually get my hair cut every few months. I feel like 6-8 weeks is almost too often. Who knows??

I've heard from many of my friends that the pre-natal vitamins make your hair and nails grow and that it helps you skin. I have a few friends that are pregnant right now so they gave me their extra vitamins... they are basically like double dosage of multi-vitamins.

I know it's weird, but when my girlfriend did modeling she used horse shampoo and her hair always grew really fast.
