I wanna buy my veil from Tri County because I don't want to pay 3 times as much at Bridal Reflections, but how do I know it matches?
I don't have a swatch of my dress and i'm not sure they even do that? soo?????

Re: How do you match your veil?
I didnt have a swatch when I went either. I told them the color my dress was ordered in (diamond white) and I brought them a picture of the dress. they matched the detail on my dress with the detail they put on the veil.
I think with just a picture of the dress and knowing the color the dress was ordered in you'll be fine.

Re: How do you match your veil?
I bought me dress at Bridal Reflections and was thinking the same thing. I thought most of their veils would be way over what I wanted to spend. I went there a few days ago and some stunning veils were $500 and over but I actually found a great veil with beautiful details for $300 (with tax)! They will also get it for my in ivory since my dress is very ivory!

when you go for your fitting next month for the bm dress ask to see your dress again. I have a feeling the veil we saw was more ivory than your dress. the lace on it was very ivory.
what about if my dress is called 'natural' and the only picture of it is in blush?? what do i even do with that??

Re: How do you match your veil?
I went with an idea of what I wanted based off of searches I did online. That helped greatly.

Re: How do you match your veil?
I was also wary of veil prices at the salon where I bought my dress, but they let me buy the sample and gave me 60% off. I tried on the veils when I went for my first fitting so I knew it matched. Can you ask your bridal salon if they can sell you the sample?

Re: How do you match your veil?
Thats the thing I don't even really love the veils I saw at Bridal Reflections, i loved the one at Tri County which is why I want that one, but I do think its a twinge more ivory than my dress is.
My dress is CALLED ivory but it looks white to me?
Meanwhile does Tri County custom make veils? IE would they make the one I loved in my color?

And PS, there is NO WAY that I'm spending $300 on a piece of tulle, especially one I plan on wearing for an hour or so.

Re: How do you match your veil?
I would do to Barrons ( I used them) and just show him a pic of the dress and he will match it, I think you should go with something crystal since you have the very nice piece on the top, he will also help you with a headpiece if you want one. HTH

Re: How do you match your veil?
most bridal places won't mind that you aren't getting your dress there. i would ask someone there what color they think. or try your dress on with the veils they have at the salon. good luck!

Tri County is a great place to go. Maybe go to BR and decide on a style you like with your dress. Take a picture and bring it with you to tri-county! If you want a simple tulle veil with nothing crazy going on I would not spend $300 either. I needed embriodery and a ton of extra lenght thanks to my 6 feet of height so the price went upl!

Re: How do you match your veil?
the place you bought your dress from will give you a swatch of your dress so ask them. They gave me mine when my dress came in, so you will probably get it when your dress comes in. I brought in a swatch of my dress when i bought veil.

Hey dress twin...my dress is in natural also. I was wondering how I would ever find the right shade for my dress. I went to tri county and they have the color natural in their swatch book. I havent ordered yet, still need to go back.

Re: How do you match your veil?
I got my veil from Barrons and worked with Yanna and she is great. My viel was 140 (two tier) and elbow length, but there is dimoands and crystals all over it and it starts from the top of the viel (i forgot what that cut is called)
EDT: My dress is ivory, I didnt bring a swatch and it matched perfect, so I wouldnt worry
