I know how to cut and paste one BUT how do you post it so its highlighted and you can click and be directed to the site???

When you a typing a message, on the left hand sign under all the pictures is 'Add feature'. The first one is 'Insert web link'. You click on that when you want to add a link and it will prompt you with what to do.
