not really. you get used to it... it pinches a little but I do it regularly enough so that there isn't *much* there to begin with... There are areas that hurt more than the others, so I'll either shave or wax *those parts*

The first time would hurt like a *****, but I used to wax and that's a quick pain... then when the *stragglers* grow in, use the epilator.

It is the most painful thing I have ever done in my life!!! And no one even sees it since my husband is in Iraq. Everytime I get it done I said 'this was a very very BAD idea!!! Why am I doing this????' But I figure I did not go through all that pain the first time not to keep up with it (the lady said it gets less painful in time).

Where do you go?? I am hoping you live on LI. I went to two places and the women were Asian and did not speak any english and while one place was much better than the other, I think they double dip in the wax and that is not cool so I want to find an American place.

Shave myself a perfect landing strip.

I go to Maximus Spa in Merrick & use Maria-she's awesome. Hurt like crazy the first time but honestly not as bad as I thought it would. And it seems to be easier every time.

i do a brazillian all the wya but i do laser. ( still in the process) but eventually that sh!t will be all gone for good

Depends...sometimes a landing strip sometimes shaved completely Depends on the mood I guess

I can't take the poll cuz 'laser it off' isn't a choice! Hurts like hell, but so worth it cuz it's never growing back!

Yes, I went to a place in Smithtown.....by Maureen's Kitchen...for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it right now. The woman was A M A Z I N G......she kept me calm the entire time....talked to me the entire time about everyday things (while being laid out in front of her....little awkward at first) She does make you help her....like pulling the skin tighter and stuff.....maybe that's why is was less painful. (tmi???)

ETA: I use Maria at Maximus. I recommend her. She books up fast especially in the summertime and around vacations.

Used to shave -- Tried a Brazilian for the first time before the wedding -- and it was so worth and the lady I went to did the same thing -- talked me through the whole process. Tried shaving after the honeymoon -- ouch!! I never relaized how bad the razor burn was. Waxing is the way to go -- laser would even be better since it's permanant.
