Clarify.. does SHE smell? Like does she have a BO problem? Or is it her body spray and the products that she uses that stink?

If it is BO - I would probably say nothing because I am way too PC and kind of nice sometimes. I feel bad for people. I would just keep my distance.

If it is her body spray you could use your period as an excuse. Say 'Oh Sherry... I am SO sorry but I have my lady friend visiting and it makes me super sensitive to certain smells and your body spray is kind of giving me a headache.' Or you could go the wimpy route that I would probably take and pick up a bottle of new spray that you like and say 'Hi Hi Hazel!! You need to smell this! It is so good! I bought one for you too!'

Actually... come to think of it. If she has BO you can use the same trick. LIke 'Dear Adeline, my FSIL works at this store and they were getting rid of some goodies. I brought some to share!' And include a bottle of douche, a deodorant and some shower gel. You may want to include a couple of non hygiene items too... just to throw her off. Like a headband or legwarmers or something.

Two things come to mind:

1) Put together a little basket for the ladies room with all kinds of nice perfumes, lotions, hairspray. Things that everyone (hopefully) uses and can be shared. Next time you see her go in there follow her, and when she goes to the sink to wash her hands (again hopefully) just start spraying like crazy so some lands on her. Hopefully she'll take the hint and start using the products herself.

2) At Christmastime organize a Secret Santa thing and whoever gets her can buy her a nice set from Bath & Body Works or some place like that.

HTH!!!

Before she comes in in the morning, wallpaper her cubicle with tree air freshners.

We had a male co-worker that would 'swim' in colone everyday. Enough to make you gag!!!!!

We mentioned it to our boss in a 'joking' way in a meeting once. She actually mentioned it to his boss. NO MORE BAD COLONE!!!!!
