I think it was a tad slow, but we are in a learning phase with this book club. What recommendations can you make to make the Topping From Below discussion even better? I enjoyed reading everyone's posts. I was thinking that maybe we should do an online chat at a certain time, like around 7:30pm, for an hour. That might also allow us to 'speak' to each other more effectively. Thoughts? Ideas?
Considering it was our first go at it, I thought it went pretty well! There are not a tremendous amount of things to discuss in Lovely Bones but I think we covered a lot of the major targets. It’s a pretty straight forward book really. I am sure down the road we’ll come across books that have a lot more metaphor going on, patterns from other books, etc. that we can discuss. I think Topping from Below will open a whole…let’s say….interesting…mode of discussion! I am glad we are on the right track though and I think after a few more months we’ll be old hats at this game!
So many people said what I would have said on the questions so I found it redundant to add anything further. I think a live chat would be nice. Giving people time, who cannot get on in the day time. I think it went ok....learning stages I guess.
I think most of us read it so far from the discussion, we had nothing to talk about. I think we should shorten the reading period, but that is JMO.
I agree with the chat at a certain time. I suggested it the first time around. Let's have a go with it this time and see which works better

It's so hard for me to participate in the day ... I like the evening chat suggestion ... if we are all on at once though, will it be hard to interact, since we will all be posting at the same time?
