When the wedding is over and all the work and planning is finally done? I am hoping to feel relaxed and thrilled.

I think I'm going to be a little sad.
Mostly thrilled and so excited to be a Mrs. and start our life together. But also a bit sad.

I will be doing the happy dance all over aruba to the point where people will think i am nuts. i wan't my normal life back & i will NOT miss planning!!

Jennbaby I am with you! I am so ready to be a married woman! Dont get me wrong, I am psyched about the wedding, but SO TIRED of the stress of it!

I enjoyed this planning and I really didn't feel stressed out at all, well I'm a little nervous that my dress isn't in yet and that I won't fit into it, but other than that things have gone smoothly. I heard the day just goes really fast and it's over before you know it.

I keep making jokes to everyone that the next time I will get some rest is October 4(FYI our wedding is October 3), but honestly I am a little concerned that I will have planning withdrawel. I wish I could start thinking baby thoughts right after, but I know it will be like 2 years after the wedding before I will even start TTC.

I believe its only natural to feel a sense that something is missing after it was something that will make such an impact on our lives but will be glad when it is all over

I think I'll miss the planning, but won't miss the stress. I'm now stressing that my fat a$$ won't look right in my dress. This after the girl practically had to wrestle me into the strapless bra/girdle thing at my first fitting.
Nothing like wrestling a marlin on board. How humiliating!

Well, my in-laws are staying 3 days more after the wedding ... so we have to take them around (they live in Europe) and the same for my parents if they can get out of my country . Then, I have 3 weeks to relax before I can begin my residency status from student to green card. The whole process takes about one year
So I will have still of after wedding things to do

I'm already looking foward to helping my sister out when it comes time for her wedding. (Mind you, she's not even engaged yet.) I've purchased a lot of books & magazines with her in mind.

i thik ill be relieved at first but then i'll start missing it. but hey for the first time ever i'll be with FH for more than 6 days in a row! i think ill feel pretty happy
I can tell you how I felt...relieved, happy, thrilled, and somewhat bored or let down after the excitement. If you were hooked on the BHB board, you'll probably still pop on like I do. The Newlyweds board is great, too. I am trying to devote that same type of energy I devoted to planning into building our relationship now.

About a month or so ago, I felt a little bored, and even posted it. HA !!!!! Be careful what you wish for is sooo true, I'm so stressed. I can't wait till it's over, I know I will feel so much more relaxed, and my sleep patterns will get back to normal

I personally can't wait for it to be over. I hate planning, especially now with 2 months exactly to go, it takes up so much of my time and energy. I think I'll be relieved and hopefully happy w/ the results of all this effort. Can't wait to not worry about what I'm eating and fitting into that dress!

I have 13 mos. left and I can't wait to be married, be FH's Mrs. and have my normal life back. We have sacrificed sooo much for this wedding. I can't remember when was the last time I went shopping for myself that wasn't wedding related. Or the last time we decided on a whim to go away for a weekend. Or go out to dinner just because... And most importantly I can go to school for my MBA as well as FH. But I know all the sacrificing is so WORTH it!!

I have so much to do and I don't even have patience for it now..
People dont' make life any easier with all of their issues that they have to make my problems..
