Eeek how morbid!
But I would have to say after smoking for 10 years, probably cancer. But I would love to die heroically if I had to, like saving a baby from a burning building.

I see myself dying of cancer. My mom is gone from it![]()
and it has a long history within my family. It is actually a recurring fear of mine and on my mind whenever I am at the doc's. For some reason I do not forsee an accident or homicide or something along that nature. Anyways, thanks for cheering me up!!![]()

I don't know, I always think I am going to die young. Probably of a disease, more so than an accident or murder.

DH and I had a conversation about this not too long ago while on a bumpy flight! ![]()
He thinks he'll die pretty young. I never gave it much thought to be honest. But then we had to discuss what each others wishes are as far as burials go - I would think that it would be really hard being that our families are from two different countries, if we died at the same time and then they had to decide what they should do with our bodies - ie, do they bury us together and if they do, where? We both actually think we would rather be cremated and then they could spread our ashes. ![]()

Hrm, been close SOOO many times. I think I’ve learned that I won’t know until it happens. I think I’ll die younger than I should but lived a full life and ultimately I’ll die content but wishing I had more time.
I used to think I would die alone and kind of still do. Not unmarried alone, but by myself in a bad situation alone. Bad things always happen when I am alone and unable to physically reach out to anyone I know for help or comfort. All my car accidents are with me alone in the car. Other REALLY scary car accidents I have nearly had I had someone in the car and miraculously was able to avoid them. Besides, if there is one thing you must do alone in your life it is die.
How I don’t want to die:
- Drown – I drowned when I was younger. CPR brought me back. To breathe in water and slowly black out an environment where nothing can hear you scream and you can see that wavey light of the water surface is pretty horrifying. It’s so alone!
- Painfully – That’s simple. Our bodies have millions of pain deadening mechanisms to avoid this very thing (ie. Shock). I want to die without pain thank you.
- Stupid – I hear stories all the time in the news about what I call ‘stupid’ deaths. I do not want to be a candidate for a Darwin Award, thank you very much!
How I want to die:
Like my grandfather and my uncle before me. ON MY TERMS. They both called the shots on their deaths. They went comfortably and at the time of their choosing. They said their goodbyes, arranged their affairs and chose a weekend. Who could ask for more?

man what a topic to talk about! but since my cousin passed away from being killed in a car accident, my feeling has been thinking that I am going to have the same fate as him. i feel like i am going to be hit by a truck and that will be it. but i hope i live till i am 95 years old.

as far as this question...well I hate thinking about it. I really do. I like to think FH and i will be really old and so out of our minds we won't realize its happening. But who knows? I really hate thinking about it :(

I have always been afraid that I am going to die from a brain aneurism. My friend's friend died this way when we were 14, and my friend's mother died this way when we were in 8th grade. Whenever I get a really bad headache, I worry about this. I would hate to die suddenly, without the chance to prepare and say goodbye to my friends and family.

I know 3 people that died from that too. It's unbeliavable, too sudden, I worry too with headaches

I don't want to know that I am dying. I want to go quick. Going in my sleep would be the ideal way. I am terrified at the thought of dying.
I am afraid that my DH is going to die at 45 in a car accident b/c my Dad did. Any time I hear of an accident in the morning in an area that I know he is going to be in I have to call him to make sure he is ok.
