How do you usually respond?

When people ask you 'How are the wedding plans coming?'

I'm just curious.

Do you just quickly fill the person in on the latest saying, 'We just booked our DJ' or 'I just ordered the favors.'

Do you go into a long chat - hee hee.

Do you simply say, 'They're going great, thanks!'

Depends on who is asking...usually a quick reply.

depends on who i am talking to, how much time i have and if they are just asking to be polite
sometime is say 'good, thanks'
i have less than 3 months to go so at this point i usually say 'pretty much done'

I used to give details but then I realized that no one really cares. And even if they did, they think I'm nuts for all the little thing I want to do. I was already told I'm wasting my time making a card box, menu's, programs, etc.... No one is going to notice these things. lol

So now I just say 'its going well'.

My usual reply is 'Haven't got much done...still have a lot to do'....but lately I say, 'It is going well, just booked the florist.' But usually people say...'You have so much time!'...and not really...it is 8 months away!

it depends on the person who asks if it is an aquiantance i dont get into too much detail sometimes people ask me and i say 'they are going great' and there is that weird pause beause they are starring at you and expecting you to say more so then I am compelled to add in another comment

exactly for me too! haha...that kind of look saying, wow you don't seem to excited about this....and i'm like no, i just don't feel like getting into it with you, random person!
