How do you wear your hair?

Do you change your hairstyle often or do you pretty much wear it the same everyday -- all down, parted to one side, in the middle, with a clip, etc??

Or do you change it up often -- put it in a bun, add some pretty clips, go from straight to curly, etc?

Oh and tell us what kind of hair you have (short, long, curly, straight)

I just usually blow dry my hair straight and part it to one side or in the middle and leave it all down. But I decided to go curly (natural) this week and I am HATING it. I've gotten so used to wearing my hair straight that I don't know what to do with it when it's curly anymore!!

My hair is exactly the same old boring way everyday ... just hanging there ... and by 3PM, it's up in a ponytail.



Okay, let me edit ... when I was working and it was a HORRIBLE HUMID day, I would sometimes do a slicked back ponytail instead of wasting 20 mins blow drying only to look like I stuck my finger in a socket.

Once in a blue moon (VERY RARELY), again if super humid, I let me hair dry naturally and it's wildly wavy/curly. People usually love it but I don't really like it because I perpertually touch my hair throughout the day so it uncurls and just ends up looking frizzy.

Well my hair is long but I'm dying to do something with it because since I was pregnant, I couln't dye it or anything so my hair has the most horrible roots and I just need a change.

rarely but i love it- when it is straightened , but i cant do it myself- too much hair!

I have naturally curly hair. I usually just do the wash and go - I never dry (diffuse) it. I really hate my hair and lately I have been hating it even more.

I have been putting it back in a nice ponytail or half up half down (sloppy) to get it away from my face....I want to make a change after the wedding - not sure what yet!

my hair is wavy - i usually wear it down and parted to a side (i alternate sides - can't commit!) I have long layers and face framing angles.

I have sooo much hair, it takes an hour to blow dry straight (then I go over it w/ a flat iron), so if I don't have the time, I'll throw some mousse or gel or curl creme into it and make it curly. It works either way.

I almost never wear my hair up - when I was in my early teens, my Dad once told me that wearing my hair off my face made my face look really fat. I do have a round face, I don't deny it, but I was so upset by that comment - now I only wear my hair up when I'm sleeping or exercising.

I have wavy/straightish hair. It starts wavy and is usually straight later in the day.

Depending on the weather and my activities, I wear it all different ways. I usually wear it loose but wear it up if it is hot. Wear barrettes if it is feeling greasy. Wear a headband sometimes.

Mine has been the same way for years. It's like SJP's hair (long and curly and parted down the middle) except brown.
Right now it's down to the middle of my back which is the longest I think it's ever been.

I'm getting it cut next weekend and I'm going to tell him to do something new - whatever he feels like! I'm scared!

I rotate from curly to straight. I have really curly hair! When I wear it curly I don't like it but since I can't blow it out myself, I have no choice. I get it blown straight like every other week and love it!

I have shoulder length hair with cheekbone length bangs..and some layers. It is also naturally curly. I am not crazy about wearing it curly because the curls are not tight and get frizzy...but, I am too lazy to straighten it out everyday.

I like to straighten my hair too..but it will never stay super straight. The minute I walk outside it tends to curl up..

I like to wear my bangs back in a clip..and I always do a side part...I don't like the way I look with it parted down the middle..

My hair sort of does its own thing... its not curly, its not straight... sort of wavy and has lots of body...

but if I dont blow it dry it looks frizzy, yet I dont like super sleek, straight hair on myself either

I have never had my hair shorter than shoulder length.. its pretty long now, hitting about the middle of my back, layered and angled down the sides.. I am very attached to my hair .. and I have been known to freak out when it is cut too short!

I do cut bangs, because I feel I look better with them.. though often I push them to the side

Though my mother loves to tell me that 'I'm too old to wear my hair long' ... maybe she's right. I don't want to look like I'm trying too hard to 'look young' or be one of those older ladies you stare at and think 'she needs to chop that mop:

i have pin straight hair...so when i leave the house it's down, and when i'm home it's in a messy knot on top of my head...

I only think that when I see long GRAY hair on people! So, if that becomes an issue, just dye it if you are keeping it long! I think you look younger than you are so you can keep it long.

My hair is just a little below my sholders. The shortest its been ina whiel. I am thinking of goign shorter, tomorrow actually. My hairs is mostrly straigh, witha little bit of a wave, on the fine side.Usually it parts it self on the die & & I have blow dry soit isn't dripping & run out the door. Today I pulled the sides back, in a rubber band, which is probabaly too young a look for me.

If I am 'doing' my hair, I can either dry it straigher or scrunch it curlier, but curlier is usually a mess.

I have natural curly hair,,so I wear it curly parted in the middle or parted to the side..

Then I straighten it..either parted in the middle, to the side or I put a little clip in it..


and when I have the time,,I straighten it and put big curls in it.....

But in the summer,,it is always curly!!!!!!!!!

Felicia, I think you just described my hair!!!
Right down to the bangs, I had them cut in a couple of months ago - but I am always pushing them to the side!

I have long straight hair that I am ALWAS playing around with!
Somedays the part is on the right
Somedays the part is on the left
Somedays the part is on the center
Somedays it's got a bit of a wave to it
Somedays it pin straight
Somedays its in a bun at the nape of my neck
Somedays its in a low ponytail
Somedays its in a high ponytail
Somedays its in a twisty clip thing
Somedays its in a french braid
Somedays its in a low ponytail thats french braided
Sometimes its in a fishbone braid
Sometimes its in a low ponytail thats a fishbone braid
Sometimes its a high ponytail in a French braid
Sometimes its a high ponytail in a Fishbone braid
Sometimes I take each side and clip them up

There might be other ways, but thats all I can think of right now.
