Does it go in front of the e-ring or behind it?

I was told it goes on the inside, close to your heart, and the e-ring on the outside.

Okay, this is what I was alwasy told too -- until yesterday. My jeweler told me it goes on the outside to 'seal the engagement'

I am totally going against tradition and wearing my e-ring on my right hand after the wedding!

It's only b/c the shape of my e-ring won't allow it to lay nicely against the band unless I get one of those bands with the cutout which I don't want.

I've seen it worn both ways. I think the usual is to have the wedding band on first, then the e-ring on top of it on the outside.
I'll probably wear the wedding band alone most of the time.

heh, that's where my wedding band will be. Northern europeans wear the wedding band on the left when they're engaged, and transfer it to the right hand when they get married...

I haven't decided if my engagement ring will stay on the left, or shift to the right... Both bands are highly polished, and I'm sort of scared of the 2 rings rubbing together and scratching....

any jewler will tell u this is the correct way.However, its really howvere u like it. Some people wear it inside..personally, i wear it outside. i like the wy it looks better and us Greeks are a little out of wack anyway.. we dont even wear the ring on the left hand that leads to the heart..we werea it on our right... with the mentality that u dont love form your heart but form your soul and i agree with that so after the wedding, I will be switching my rings to my right

wedding band first. The day of I'm going to wear my e-ring on the right to free up my left hand and then once the wedding band goes on I'm going to move my e-ring back.

my wedding band is kind of wide, so i will most likely wear it on the outside of my e-ring...i think it looks better that way...i could care less what is 'normal'...haha...i have never really followed

I dont' think that there is any 'right' way to do it. You should see what is most comfortable, or what you like best if there isn't a comfort difference.
