How do you word an invitation that doesn't include a ceremony?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I would just say something like,

'join us to celebrate the union/marriage of...'

Thank you!

We want to do an insert card with ceremony information. We are getting married in Jersey and don't want people to feel obligated.

Any ideas? HELP!

How about this:

Mr. and Mrs. Bride's Parents
request the pleasure of your company
at a (dinner) reception in honour of
Mr. and Mrs. Your Married Name
Day, the date of Month
at time o'clock (in the afternoon/evening)
Location Name
City, State

Of course, it can be tweaked depending on who's hosting. HTH

Thanks so much for your help!

Do you have any ideas how I can word the ceremony insert? I want it to explain where we are getting married and that guests are invited. I just don't want it to sound like they are expected to travel to Jersey to see us get married. I want it to be totally optional.
