How dose this timeline for a 1:30pm reception sound.

How dose this timeline for a 1:30pm reception sound.

I am having trouble figuring out what time to have the ceremony. It is a 45-min ride from the church to the reception hall and I figured maybe 2 hours to take pictures.

How dose this sound

6:30 Hair
7:30 Makeup
8:30 Pictures
10:00-11:00 Church
45 Minute Drive
11:45 Pictures
1:30 Cocktail hour

Dose that sound ok. Me and Fiance will only be in cocktail hour for the end, or not at all.

So do you think that is about accurate?

For girls who have been married did I leave enough time for everything?

I think it sounds good...and I think you'll be able to make your cocktail hour...

Check with your church first. My cocktail hour is 1/2 hour away from the church and starts at 1:00PM, but the church would not let me have the wedding before 11:00AM (they reserve Sat morning for funerals). So, I'm not doing a receiving line, racing to the church, taking pictures and trying real hard to make the cocktail hour. Our cocktail hour is on the deck and we'll take pictures right next to it, so we'll be right there for most of it. I wish I could have had a 10AM mass!
