should I get for a daytime engagement party? It's tomorrow and it's my FH's cousin, I don't know how dressed up I should get!

I would go dressy but causal....make a nice pants and heals and a nice top or a casual dress. Not too fancy though.

i went to a party for FH's boss last week at a hall and got all dressed up. and everyone else was wearing jeans and t shirts. i was pretty pissed lol

Yea....I know what my FMIL is wearing and what my FSIL but I just wanted more opinions...

a dress with heels or a knee length skirt with a blouse and heels

I had a sunday afternoon e party. I wore a casual dress with leggings and flip flops...people wore capris, some wore skirts and others wore shorts and t shirts! I say anything goes...be comfy!

With things like that, I always go with a black skirt and a nice top.... I bring jewlery in my bag just incase its a real fancy occasion, watch people go in and if its fancy, add a large dressy belt, and nice jewlery :)

That's a great idea! Thank you all for your suggestions! I went with the skirt/shirt combo and it was perfect - some people were very dressed up and some not so much - so I was happily in between!

You know the party was nice but the DJ was sick and the replacement they sent was terrible! And to boot it's the same company we hired for our e-party in three weeks so now FH & I are sooooo nervous!
