FFIL is going to be paying for it. However, he moves very slow to do things. I want to book it so I can get invites for it together. Everytime I ask FH to remind him about it he tells me, he is taking care of it, and he's not asking him again. Arghhhh!! I don't see his father too much so its not like I can ask him, and I feel weird calling and bugging him to death. I figure if I keep bugging FH enough he will start bugging his dad.

I don't think you need to really book it until like one month before the wedding.
I booked mine already (3 months before the wedding) because the place I wanted it at has a lot of holiday parties and I'm getting married in December and our rehearsal dinner is on a Saturday night.

we didn't book ours yet - don't even know when it is yet b/c the church won't reutnr our calls....ugh! and we have less than 3 months!

i looked around about 4 months before (on and off) but finally booked one month before
