the latest i could get my church is at 3 pm and my ch is at 730!! ahh. the church is a full mass so it will last till about four then take pics at the church after but i dont know what to do in between bc im getting married in december.....
my mom is inviting people back to her house so they have a place to go in btwn but what about us and the bridal party????
also, what time is the earliest halls allow people to come to take pics??

The time will go much faster than you think. It's better to have a little more time than not enough. By the time your mass ends and you take pictures, and drive over to your RH, you won't have as much time as you think you might. Even if after all that, you have a full hour or so, use it to relax, freshen up, and hang out with your BP in the bridal suite. Trust me, you won't be sitting around bored on your wedding day!

You could talk to the reception hall about taking inside pictures before your CH. Then you could relax with your bridal party in the bridal suite.

my hall is giving me the option to have a hospitality hour b4 the cocktail hour - ya know drinks coffee wat not

how far is ur chjurch from the hall......figure travel time and pictres take forever im sure.... and figure a 45-60 minute mass....then by the time u say hi and do the whole kiss hello thing to everyone and their mother...that will be another half hour or so if not more... than some pics outside and around the church or wat not... then get everyone together and get ot the pictre site ....i mean i think i ull be fine.... it will fly

you can go to a location for pictures. that is what we are doing
and we have a bigger gap than you. our church is at 1 and the cocktail is at 7. we will take pictures at church, then at a location then meet back at RH to take pics with family. but that time we shiould be able to relax a bit at RH then eat

I have 2:30 mass then 7:00 ch - bridal party is going to go do pics then back to hotel to relax. I booked the meeting room at hotel since more than half of guests are OOT and will put some drinks n snacks there to hold ppl over and the close but not super close distance guests can hang out there instead of go all the way home and back. That's the plan, I hope it goes well.

i would go to a location for pictures instead of a studio. Like mentioned above it takes time. If your mass ends at 4pm, then after receiving line which is just a few mins and pics in front of church you will be out of there around 4:30pm, then time it takes to get to a picture location and then you should really have about 2 hours to take pics. I took pictures for 2 hours and 15 minutes, dont rush this. Then we had the drive from queens to li to get to the hall. My ceremony ended at 3pm, and we took pictures until 6:15 then headed to the RH to get there by 7pm. We went straight to the bridal suite and all got to sit, relax and eat before guests started to arrive, ch was 7:30
halls usually allow you about 1 hour before to get there...but as youll see on the boards many ppl go elsewhere to take pics.

the problem is that my wedding is in december so i really cant go anywhere outside, thats why i need the photo studio for the bulk of the time. i gotta call the rh again today to find out.

if u r staying at a hotel that night iwould have everyone go there , you can take pics in lobby and rest of peole can check in and relax...thats what we always do before the reception

MY FSIL DID THE SAME THING..HER PARENTS JUST HAD PEOPLE COME OVER THE HOUSE AND SHE HAD SOME APPETIZERS TO HOLD PEOPLE OVER UNTIL THE RECEPTION...IT WORKED OUT WELL...
THE WEDDING WAS IN THE WINTER SO IT HELPED TO HAVE SOMEWHERE INDOORS TO GO...
