Before the wedding should I go in for a fitting? My dress is in and I was just curious??
I went my for first fitting on President's Day, I think Feb 20th and my wedding is march 30th...I think it depends where you go...a lot of girls go much earlier.

but i definately think that you should go get fitted so that your dress is perfect on your body.....please take pics
call and ask the place where you are getting fitted at and see what they recommend. usually you start a couple weeks before your big day and have a couple of fittings between then and the wedding. you are supposed to get it done close to your wedding date so you dont have it altered and then loose/gain weight before your big day. you could probably go try it on, just for fun now, but i definitely would not recommend getting it altered any time soon.
Depends on the store. Mine is crazy-they wanted me in only a month before so I had to tell a white lie -hands head in shame- and tell them my wedding was a month before. I was afraid because when i was doing the try-on of ym dress, another bride was in there frantic because her wedding was that weekend and they still hadnt finished last alterations on her dress (this was a Thursday) and they were not going to b open Friday so she would have had to pick it up on the day of the wedding! Freaked me out but NOW I have to worrry about not gaining weight or losing too much the month before my actual date! So be acreful about the day you choose ladies.

LOL - My dress has been in since January - I went to the store and saw her once in order to order my veil.... At the place I have my dress you can only try it on with the seamtress adn she was busy. I stared at her for a while and then left. But I think I am going to go in May. See if I can hold off that long![]()
