How far in advance....

Would you or did you get your wedding bands?
If it were up to me, FH and I would go out this weekend looking.

lol - i know i can't because we don't have the $ to lay out right now, but I know band shopping is going to be difficult.

I may need to go custom so it fits flush against my ering, and FH is the pickiest person EVERRRR.
We've already browsed, and he hasn't found anything he'd like to wear.

We have 7 months left and we went to get mine last month. His is another story....he probably wont want to go until the week before

I think we are going about six months before the wedding, I have to have a band made to fit flush with my ring

We did a lot of research online to narrow down what we wanted. We ordered them in mid-January and picked them up in mid-February; took about 2-3 weeks for them to come in. So figure 4-6 months beforehand.

I looked every time i went to get my ring cleaned

found them the 2nd time i went there... about 1 year away from the wedding... hopefully they will be in soon hehe

i went looking - spent hours in tri county trying on every band imaginable (i have a pear shaped with baguettes - so nothing is flush)

I decided on a five stone round bar set ring - now im just going to have my jeweler make it. she said a few months before.

We got ours several months before but that was bc the guy was retiring and moving to Jersey so we had to get our butts in gear!

Grrr I already know what I want but we are having them custom made so I want to order them at the same time so they could be made out of the same gold batch. I want it engraved too so I will have to wait until pain in the butt FH picks something he likes

who knows.......prob a couple of weeks/months before. we already have the jeweler so its just a matterof picking them out, but i know what im looking for!!! as for fh????

I want to go nowm but I thnk we're going to buy it 4 months in advance, but that doesn't stop me from looking.

I've had ours in my lockbox under my bed for about a year now - lol. we went in the store to 'just look' and we bought them because there was a 'great sale' that day. I love his.....mine is growing on me...but I kinda wish I had looked more for an eterinity band instead.......oh well.
