how far in advance from your wedding date did you book your honeymoon? 9 months? 6 months?

A year before. Since we're getting married in the summer, we wanted to get a head start on booking because there could be an increase in demand with summer vacations. We also wanted to book flights as soon as they posted because they usually only go up from there.

We booked our trip to Greece already. Our travel agent said that airline prices go up about 5-10% each year so we wanted to not have to pay that increase....so we have to pay for our trip in full by Dec. 31st but i think it will be worth it.
Plus depending where you go there are only so many suites in each hotel and it would stink to miss out on a great room because of waiting..

We haven't booked ours yet. I'll book within the next month. Sometimes you get better deals the closer you book to your travel date. You should worry but start doing some research, tripadvisor is wonderful!

we haven't book ours - we plan to book it maybe a month or two before hand but we are on a off season so no worries
