Do you meet with the RH to do the menu stuff? I ask because FH and I have off this coming week and would like to do it then so we can start printing up and working on our menus. I work during the week and on sundays so it only leaves me saturdays...all my saturdays in may are booked up and then it only gives us 4 weeks to print out and put together our menus...do you think it is too early to call and make an appointment? I dont want to seem crazy!

I called my RH 3 weeks ago and they seemed to think I was nuts for calling so soon! They told me it is typically a month prior but they were more than willing to meet with me sooner. I am sure if you explain the situation they will be fine with it!

Supposedly I get called in 6 weeks to a month prior to do the 'party planning' meeting, and that's when we pick the menu, cake, linens, go over final details, etc. I'm hoping it's more like 6 weeks than a month, but we pretty much have it picked out already anyways.

we were told about a month before too but we are trying to go soon b/c the WHOLE month before there is not a single day we can make it. . . I say just push for what works for your schedule. . explain that you would like it earlier b/c blank blank. . and they should be able to help. .

We were sent a letter about a month before, we had to call and make an appointment after we got the letter. I think we went in about 2-3 weeks the first time

I called my RH last month and they said theyll set it all up for the end of April. They do it like a month in advance but if you insist on doing it earlier i dont see why it would be a problem.
