...did you book your hair and makeup?

I think it depends on the makeup and hair person you want. The more popular ones the sooner the better.

It's true. I tried booking someone last week and my date is May, 2010. She is already booked! I thought I was giving ample time too.

just booked my hair last week and my make up trial isnt till middle of july.... so yeah i waited but its all working out

The sooner the better DEF!!!!!! I booked mine about 6-7 months before and I LUCKED out cause the girl I got is SUPER popular and gets booked QUICK!

I booked mine in January for October 24th.

I didnt want to take any chance they would be not be available for my wedding.

At least 4-5 months depending when your wedding is held and falls under, for ex. summer (July & Aug are very popular months for weddings) as well as fall. Also, winter weddings are becoming a big trend right now. So if the hairstylist & make-up artist is reputable and popular with brides, book her for a trial ASAP to ensure you have the person you want for the day of your wedding!

Booked mine two weeks ago for Aug 2010. It was one of the first things I did because my best friend was not able to get her first two choices when she got married

I only my booked my makeup this far in advance because its my good friend Haven't done hair yet though...prollly around the 1 year mark I will do trials!!
