how far in advance ....

Did you girls go for your food tasting at your RH's?

What about choosing cakes?

my wedding is in july and my tasting is in 2 weeks, so I guess about 3 months before. I'm also going to do my cake stuff the same weekend and just get it done! I know some places let you do a tasting before you book, but I didn't have that option. I'm not sure what the norm is though!

Did our first tasting about a year ago...going to do another this summer....booked our cake/did our tasting, last weekend

we are getting married in June and are having our fist tasting in 2 weeks.

I just want to get an idea of what to choose for the menu. I have hear only good things about Riviera food. if not then i probably would have gone sooner.

We did our food tasting in January (that's when FH's dad was in town) and we were invited for our cake tasting on April 6th...we're getting married on July 29th...

just did my food tasting to narrow down the menu yesterday. we picked out dinner menu!!!! we just need to decide on everything for the CH

I tasted the food with my mom when we went to a showcase. FH trusted my judgement and we booked from there. We are planning on going to their showcase again on the 24th of this month so FH can finally taste it for himself. We were going to do an officially tasting but since we found out a about the showcase we felt it was a better option - there will be a lot more food to try and plus we may win some stuff!

As far as the cake, we just did the cake meeting last week. We picked the cake/filling and design.
