We just had our e-party in August, so I'm thinking maybe some time in the spring? I know it's supposed to be a surprise, but it probably cant be THAT much of a surprise since I'm out of state most of the time.

I totally hear you, I'm out of state too, and my job requires me to work many weekends....my mom, MOH and FH finally agreed that it would not be a surprise after I dropped hints to all of them that I don't really like surprises (which they all know)....so my MOH came to visit this weekend and we just chose April 5 as the date! (it was the ONLY ONE that worked except the week before the wedding! ) So I would say 2-3 months...

i am at the 3 1/2 month mark and dont think my shower is anytime soon! i check my registry once in a while and nothing is coming off yet... lololol

I think 2 or 3 months. Mine is in April and my wedding is in July.

I agree with the 2-3 month range. I know a lot of brides whose showers were like 4 months before as well...it depends how busy teh family and bride and groom will be a few months before the wedding. My mother and I had my sister's shower 7 MONTHS before her wedding to surprise her....LoL SHE HAD NOOO CLUE!!!!!
