how far in advance did you book hair & makeup?

how far in advance did you book hair & makeup?

My wedding is 9/21/08...i haven't even gone on any trial runs yet for either one yet....do i still have time? which ones do you recommend? Thanks girlies!

about a year in advance...you can still find many dont worry, but if you REALLy want a particular person then i would do it soon just bc alot of them book up quickly, but if you are not set on a particular vendor the you have time to shop around

i'm just starting to go to trials now... i called about a month ago and they still weren't booked (both are popular on here). So you're okay but I agree do it soon, especially if you need someone to come to you and don't want to go to a salon

I just booked my trial with mia because all of the girls on here talk about her so much. she seems really nice to so I hope all goes well with her.

I'm getting married the week before you. I booked my hair person a long time ago and I booked my make-up person about 2 months ago

I booked my hair and make up last month.
I only booked that early because I didn't want to miss the chance of working with them.

My wedding is in June '08 so that would make them booked..... 9 months in advance!

My Trials I have yet to do though. I will wait 'till it gets a little closer to the date!

wow, I thought I had a ton of time ....

I am going to book hair soon probably, I'm going with my regular colorist / hairstylist and I know she'll do a great job ... and makeup, I will book probably in Jan or Feb, after I have a few trials.
