How far in advance did you book your honeymoon???

My wedding is June 22, but we haven't decided whether to go on a honeymoon right away or to wait a couple of months til September. We're thinking Aruba. Did most of you use a travel agent or do everything seperately?

How far in advance did you book your honeymoon???

We are getting married in June also. We booked our honeymoon to Hawaii in December. We are leaving a couple of days after the wedding. We used a travel agent, and I think we got a pretty good deal. You could always price airline tickets/hotels on the internet and then go to a travel agent for a comparison. Good luck!!

Nina, my wedding is in June also, and I haven't booked yet either! Maybe we should go together!! hahaha I just switched jobs, so I had to see if my new employer would let me go so soon after being hired. But it is all ok, so we do have to start planning now. And funny, we are going to Aruba too!! Probably now is a good time...we got quotes already from a travel agent...I could give you her name and # if you want. The prices seem pretty good actually!

I am switching jobs at the end of this month and that`s one of the reasons I waited too!! But I just found out today that my days accumulate and I`m eligible for vacation in June, so I have to start planning. So, are you going right after your wedding? I guess I`d prefer that, but I have to check the $$ first. I called Liberty Travel yesterday, just to get a quick quote and they told me approx. $1400 pp for ocean view room, air, transportation, and taxes for the Marriot. We don`t want an all inclusive b/c my FI doesn`t drink and I`m a vegetarian. Anyway, I`d love to get in touch w/ your agent, please email me or give me the number on this board. What did she quote you?

We will book in a few months for our October HM.

Ive been to Aruba...its a beautiful place but a little boring for my tastes. All depends on what you want to do - relax or activity?

We will book in a few months for our October HM.

At that time of the year Aruba is great. You don't have to worry about the weather and its quiet. Look into the Hyatt and the Marriot. I stayed at both and they were beautiful. Hawaii is always gorgeous but $$$.Good Luck
