how far in advance did you order your invitations?
When did you order your wedding invites?
I'm not sure if I'll be ordering from an online vendor or going to a local printer, yet. I'm just curious how far in advance I'll need to order them so they arrive on time (and I have time to get the envelopes done before mailing them out).

Okay, invitations can then officially be moved toward the bottom of the to-do list.
(I haven't even received my STDs yet, but I did order them)
I should probably focus my attention on getting a photographer... or a florist... or limos!

yeah, you have some time before invites.
if you should come across something you like, then go for it. but there is no rush right now

Most places have a quick turn around time (like less than a week) so you don't have to do it until much closer to the wedding...definately concentrate on your vendors first!!!...we ordered in the middle of April for our July 29th wedding

4-6 months in advance.
My wedding is in May and I'm doing invitations now (Dec). I expect to order and get proofs in January and receive the final products in February. Then I'll mail them out in March for my May wedding.
