We orderd ours as soon as we found something we liked, and this took a while!

I would suggest doing it as soon as you have the money available, we waited until 3 weeks before, and i was able to take mine home, but my FI has a big ring size so it has to be specally ordered and its gonna be here 2 days before the wedding and that was a rush order!!

We are odering ours on Saturday, March 18th, we are having them made in the diamond district in NYC, same place I got my e-ring. It should take no more than 2 weeks hopefully.

How far in advance did you order your wedding bands?

We ordered ours over Easter for Our July 5th wedding, it took about 2 weeks. I week to have them seized and whanot and other for engraving.
I'm kicking myself for engraving them so soon, b/c the military might be changing my wedding date! argh
