We've got the place, the band, the photographer, videographer, and we're getting married at the RH. So next on the list would be the florist, right? We're getting married Memorial Day weekend '08, is it too early to book one? Just wondering.

Some florists won't let you book until a year before. I would wait a little while. Plus, if you wait until May then you can see what's in season during your month.

I would wait until around May. This way you know what flowers are in season and so they could put together a sample CP for you to see.

I am just booking mine now and my wedding is in less than 4 months.
You really dont need a lot of time becasue a. most florists can do more than one wedding a day so you dont have to worry about all of them, being booked b. they dont need to start doing anything until a month before unless you get some complicated special order thing c. youre going to change your mind a million times anyway, so its better to wait a little

I booked my original florist a year and a half in advanced. To be honest, I dont think you can book anything too early for a wedding.

I am putting off flowers till at least April/May only because why put another dp down? Why not wait??? I will get some estimates though in March (one year till the wedding) just to have an idea of what it would be costing me.

We book ours one year in advance . . . I would do like the rest of the girls suggested and wait until May.
