How far in advance do I order invites?

Heres how I timed it.

Im geting married may 25.

I need one month of head counts, phone calls...

RSVP is APril 25th.

I want them to go out atleast a month in advance.

youneed to allow about 2=4 weeks for processing (depending who u order from)

I ordered a week ago.

and u need time to stuff and address everything.

I say order 3 mons in advance to assure u have enough time.

Invites in late feb...out mid march....

rsvp 4/25....

wedding 5/25

sorry its all disorganized...thats how i thought it in my head...i started going backwards!

Depends on where you are ordering from.
Online companies can only take a few weeks
Custom initations can take anywhere from 3-6 months.

Start looking and see what you like and wehre you want to order from!

np! The only other advice i could offer you is that after you pick the invite...pick the wording! It was soooo difficult for me and FH..we couldnt put parents names on it it tlooked sooooo cluttered and ppl were getting pissy...etc.....

really know that too before u order!!

well, it depends who you order from
Invitations By Dawn always gets things that i order to me in less than a week.
Some companies that do custom invites need months of process time.
